Neglect (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
Jul. 26th, 2006 03:37 pmTITLE: Neglect
'VERSE: A Memory of Thorns
PAIRING(S): Willow/Kennedy (implied)
LENGTH: drabble (100 words)
MOOD: Nothing specific, PG
SYNOPSIS: This one is from an open-AU that I'm building in which Willow and Kennedy didn't go to Brazil (among other things). I'd love any feedback folks can give! ^_^
The trick to plants, Willow had learned, lay in leaving them alone. She'd been more proactive to start, investing time and energy into the carefully planned landscaping in front of her shop. It was a tactful mix of mundane and magic, just enough to catch the eye of her clientele, but not enough to attract the notice of less savory visitors. After three week of fruitless labor, Kennedy took away the watering can and banned her from further botanical abuse. Two bags of Miracle Grow and a good solid month of neglect restored the garden to perfect health.
Stupid flowers.
